Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO seeks a Senior Data Analyst to support a strategic Key Accounts organization across North America. You will transform complex data into actionable insights, build dashboards, and deliver analytics that drive growth for cross-functional teams in sales and operations.

You will partner with leadership to improve performance, automate reporting, and communicate trends with executive-level visuals, supporting strategic initiatives and customer engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (analytics, science, or engineering).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in data analytics, BI, or sales analytics.
  • Experience delivering business insights via dashboards and reporting.
  • Experience supporting sales, commercial operations, or key accounts is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales and leaders to develop key account metrics and frameworks.
  • Translate data into actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Create executive-level presentations and visualizations.
  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports.

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Senior Data Analyst to support a strategic Key Accounts organization across multiple business units throughout North America. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who enjoys transforming complex information into actionable business insights and helping organizations make informed decisions that drive growth.

As a strategic partner to sales and business leadership, you will be responsible for developing reporting frameworks, managing performance metrics, improving business processes, and delivering analytics that support key account strategies. You will serve as the bridge between technical data and business decision‑making, creating dashboards, automating reporting processes, and identifying opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and customer engagement.

This position offers the opportunity to work cross‑functionally with sales & operations leadership teams to enhance performance, streamline processes, and support strategic initiatives.

Strategic Analytics & Business Support
  • Partner with sales and business leaders to develop key account strategies, performance metrics, and measurement frameworks.
  • Translate complex data into meaningful business insights that support decision‑making and organizational objectives.
  • Develop executive‑level presentations and visualizations that communicate trends, opportunities, and business performance.
  • Identify operational gaps and growth opportunities through data analysis and reporting.
  • Support the implementation of cross‑functional initiatives designed to improve processes, consistency, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to business users on reporting tools, analytics processes, and performance management practices.
Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights.
  • Enhance and automate recurring reports and performance measurement tools.
  • Establish scalable data collection processes and KPI frameworks to standardize business reporting.
  • Gather, manage, and analyze data from multiple sources, including ERP, CRM, business intelligence, and database systems.
  • Analyze trends, patterns, and key performance metrics using statistical and analytical techniques.
  • Develop and manage automation solutions to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and data quality.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting, technical support, and analytical expertise to business stakeholders as needed.
Process Improvement & Contract Analytics
  • Support contract and pricing‑related reporting, tracking, and compliance measurement activities.
  • Develop tools and dashboards that improve visibility into contract performance and operational execution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve business processes and ensure consistent implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on key business metrics related to customer agreements and organizational performance.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, sales analytics, or a related analytical role.
  • Master's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering business insights through dashboards, reporting, and performance measurement systems.
  • Experience supporting sales, commercial operations, key account management, or customer‑focused organizations is preferred.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and Access modeling. Proficient in creating and interpreting relational databases; a solid understanding of SQL, query concepts, and automation is preferred. Knowledge of SAP, BI reporting, SAC, and KNIME is highly desirable.
  • Technical skills in the following are a plus: Knime Automation Software, SAC Cloud Visualization, Power Apps
