What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with data engineers, business analysts, and leadership to define data needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Own multiple projects and project timelines to ensure deliverables meet stakeholder requirements
- Create dynamic, user-friendly visualizations in Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Conduct in-depth data analyses to identify complex trends and provide actionable recommendations
- Develop and refine complex data models using advanced techniques to support reporting and analytics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks or similar data intelligence platforms
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with data visualization software, preferably Power BI
- Versatility in using programming languages for advanced data analysis and automation, with strong SQL skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in healthcare, insurance, or actuarial fields
- Certifications such as Databricks Certified Associate or Power BI certification
- Experience with EHR data, Clinical Trials, or other healthcare data
- Experience with AWS and embedded BI solutions
- Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query, data visualization, and report automation in Power BI
