Job summary

Prudential Ins Co of America in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Absence Consulting Practice and deliver standard and ad hoc reporting that helps employers understand leave of absence, disability, and life insurance data. You will provide insights to clients and internal stakeholders.

You will work with a cross-functional team to develop dashboards, data pipelines, and analytic templates, and explain visualizations to customers while designing innovative reporting

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a quantitative field.
• Basic understanding of health, disability, and life data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening).

Responsibilities

• Produce standard and ad hoc reporting packages for leave of absence, disability, and life insurance.
• Create and maintain dashboards and data pipelines.
• Explain data visualizations and concepts to customers.
