Job summary

Plymouth Rock Company in Woodbridge, New Jersey is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to analyze operational workflows and profitability, assessing insurance P&Ls, expense ratios, and marketing funnel metrics to support profitable growth.

You will build and maintain databases, develop dashboards in SQL Server and Tableau, automate reporting, and collaborate with underwriting, sales and claims teams to drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in quantitative field of study.
• Property and Casualty Insurance experience preferred.
• Analytical problem solver with high curiosity and attention to detail.
• Strong programming/query experience in SQL Server and Tableau report building.
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
• Three or more years of experience with relational database tools and concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative but able to work independently on a high volume of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational workflows and profitability to measure business performance.
• Identify reporting solutions and upgrade reports to improve efficiency and presentation.
• Collaborate with analytic teams to review insights.
• Use front end reporting tools and data systems to analyze business issues and communicate results.
• Work with Production Data warehouse; support ETL processes.
• Build automated reporting and analytical tools and integrate data into dynamic workbooks.
• Act as liaison between BI team and other departments.
