CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst to perform analyses that back business conclusions with sound data research.

The role sits in the Data Science & Analytics function and focuses on reviewing data to support improving effectiveness and predicting outcomes for business intelligence. The Sr. Data Analyst will coordinate data aggregation, develop data pipelines, and present comprehensive data stories to leadership while ensuring data quality across sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data aggregation and curate complex reports using various business intelligence and reporting applications.
• Perform ad-hoc, strategic review of structured and unstructured data, reflecting global real estate markets and the operations of real estate assets.
• Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, cleanse, and standardize information to generate insights and address reporting needs.
• Define complex data requirements and gather information using judgment and statistical tests.
• Use programming and evaluation tools, including open-source programs to plan models and extract insights.
• Identify opportunities to maximize data usage. Apply modeling and optimization methods to develop new strategies and improve business performance.
• Develop ad-hoc reporting based on the review of existing data sources.
• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
