Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Data Analyst to ensure recommendations are backed by data findings and thorough data research.

You will aggregate data, curate complex reports, and develop data structures and pipelines to generate insights for reporting needs. You will define data requirements, apply statistical tests, and collaborate with agile teams to enhance processes and communicate findings across leadership levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree. Master’s degree preferred.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to understand possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data aggregation and curate complex reports using BI and reporting applications.
• Perform ad-hoc strategic review of structured and unstructured data related to real estate markets and asset operations.
• Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, cleanse, and standardize information to generate insights.
• Define complex data requirements and gather information using judgment and statistical tests.
• Use programming and evaluation tools, including open-source programs to plan models and extract insights.
• Identify opportunities to maximize data usage and apply modeling to improve business performance.
• Develop ad-hoc reporting based on the review of existing data sources.
• Exhibit rigor and the ability to present a detailed 'data story' to multiple levels of the organization.
