Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP in Findlay, Ohio, is seeking a data analytics professional to join the Commercial Management Data & Insights team. The role collaborates with Quantitative Analytics and business partners to deliver trusted data, actionable insights, and data-driven decisions across the organization.

You will design data models, preprocess data, and build dashboards in Power BI/Tableau, forecasting analytics, and analytics solutions; 4+ years experience preferred; Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, with preference in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with business partners to deliver analytics solutions; drive process improvements.
• Models data for reuse across analyst groups and preprocesses raw data from various sources.
• Supports analytics data solutions; works with system support teams to correct and enhance data.
• Conducts in-depth analysis of large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends.
• Develops and implements analytical models to forecast future trends and outcomes.
• Creates visually compelling dashboards and reports and communicates findings to stakeholders.
• Ensures integrity and quality of data through audits and validation processes.
• Partners with cross-functional teams to deliver insights and drive data governance.
