Job summary

Marathon Petroleum in San Antonio seeks a Senior Data Analyst (Business Operations) to help Fuels Value Chain West Division achieve goals through data analytics, forecasting, and actionable insights for decision makers. The role requires strong attention to detail and an entrepreneurial mindset.

You will collaborate with commercial, IT, pricing, supply, BP&A, law and finance teams to build data pipelines, dashboards, and models, while maintaining data quality and communicating findings to drive

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Four (4) years experience required.
Experience in Analytics, Pricing, Revenue and Profitability Management preferred.
Knowledge of refined products segments and data governance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Acquires, cleans and preprocesses raw data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Conducts in-depth analysis of large datasets to extract insights and trends.
Develops and implements analytical models to forecast future trends and outcomes.
Develops and performs statistical analysis to identify patterns and correlations.
Creates dashboards and reports to convey findings to stakeholders.
Ensures data quality through audits and validation processes.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights.
Leads initiatives to build sustainable data pipelines and analytics solutions.
