Marathon Petroleum invites applications for a Lead Data Governance Analyst in Findlay, OH. The role advances data governance and data product enablement across multiple domains within the Middle Office and Order to Cash processes.

You will partner with process owners and data stewards to mature governance and deliver high-quality data products. You will mentor teams, influence governance policy, and translate domain needs into platform controls while coordinating with digital partners and

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant experience required.
Hands-on data analyst experience using SQL for data profiling, joins, grain/key analysis, reconciliation.
Experience translating policy or compliance requirements into data/platform controls.
Experience training, facilitating decisions, coaching others, and influencing without direct authority.

Responsibilities

Sets the vision for the data governance function and aligns with organizational objectives.
Drives collaboration between data governance and strategic departments.
Acts as primary contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors.
Leads design of data governance maturity models and roadmaps.
Develops strategic partnerships to elevate governance posture.
Oversees budgeting and resource allocation for data governance.
