Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Sr Data Analyst to join the Inbound Integration team. You will map inbound data across systems, ensure data quality, and drive improvements in data capture and workflow across retail operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, system integration, and process optimization.
• Strong understanding of data flow mapping, ETL processes, and data management principles.
• Proficiency in data querying and visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Data Mapping and Integration: Analyze and map inbound data flows across multiple systems and tools to ensure the integrity and connectivity of the data.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate and maintain reports to track data flow performance and identify areas for improvement.
• System and Tool Analysis: Monitor and troubleshoot data flow issues, ensuring timely resolution and reliability.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and drive alignment on data flow objectives.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop KPIs and provide regular updates on integration progress and outcomes.
• Data & Controls: Identify signals and visibility needs to improve operations and controls; build reporting.
• Technical Languages: Use coding and querying to integrate data across systems and mentor analytics team members.
