Job summary

IPRO’s Jericho, NY office is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Managed Care Department. You will perform complex analyses, translate results into clear summaries, and ensure data quality across programs, measures, and analytic deliverables.

You will design analytics and dashboards (Tableau) for highly complex requests, develop advanced data approaches, collaborate with stakeholders, and look for automation to improve efficiency and data-driven decision making within IPRO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related or analytical field.
• 2 years in health care data or MCO environment preferred; master’s plus 1 year acceptable.
• Experience with healthcare data (HEDIS/CMS) preferred.
• SAS programming experience; SAS macros and PROC SQL a plus.
• Tableau, Python and MS Power Automate experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze MCO encounter data for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Conduct QA and validation activities for programs, measures, rates, reports and analytics.
• Develop queries using complex data analyses to support evaluation and decision-making.
• Collaborate with management, analysts, programmers and SMEs to meet requirements.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and streamline workflows.
• Translate client requirements into actionable instructions for delivery.
• Represent department leadership on client calls as needed.
• Ensure analyses use high-quality data and timeliness of data delivery.
• Multitask on several projects and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Support continuous quality improvement across IPRO.
