Job summary

ISLAND PEER REVIEW ORGANIZATION INC in Jericho, NY is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to perform complex analyses and translate results into clear summaries. The role focuses on QA of programs, measures and analytic deliverables, with opportunities to improve efficiency and automation.

You will design analytics including reports and Tableau dashboards, collaborate across teams, and ensure data quality. Strong healthcare data experience and SAS, Excel, and Python skills are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an analytical, research or health-related field required.
Master's degree in public administration, public policy, public health or related social science preferred.
Two years experience in health care field or equivalent in an MCO; Master's degree and one year acceptable.
Experience with healthcare data (HEDIS and CMS measures) preferred.
Two years SAS programming experience; SAS Macros and PROC SQL preferred.
Experience with Tableau, Python and/or MS Power Automate preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze MCO encounter data for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
Conduct quality assurance and validation of programs, measures, rates, reports, and analytic deliverables.
Identify and develop queries using complex data analyses to support program evaluation, quality measurement, and operational decision-making.
Collaborate with management, analysts, programmers, and subject matter experts to ensure deliverables meet business requirements and client expectations.
Identify opportunities to automate processes, streamline workflows, and improve analytics and QA activities.
Design analytics (reports, Tableau dashboards) to respond to very complex requests.
