Job summary

Central Health in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Data Analyst to drive BI, performance and operational analysis across clinical, financial and enrollment data. You will act as an Epic SME for front/back-end reporting and assist in data warehouse and dashboard development.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, writing advanced SQL, building reports for stakeholders and delivering insights to drive patient-centered, data-driven care. Occasional on-site visits may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare, statistics, data science, or public health.
• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Finance, Math, Economics, CS, Engineering or related quantitative discipline.
• Master's degree preferred in MIS, Finance, Math, Economics, CS, Engineering or related quantitative discipline.
• Epic Cogito Certification within 6 months.
• 3 years experience in SQL ( preferably T-SQL) or Python; 2 years in Tableau or other data viz tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document requirements for reporting and dashboards across clinical, claims, financial and enrollment data.
• Lead analytics and reporting on assigned projects.
• Perform data analysis and present results to internal/external customers.
• Assist in data warehouse/data mart design and development.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards for multiple stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT to automate reporting and troubleshoot data issues.
• Write and optimize SQL for data extraction and validation.
• Work with Epic BI Director to identify reporting solutions.
• Build Epic Radar/ SlicerDicer reports for custom metrics.
• Prepare written and oral reports for stakeholders.
• Produce monthly/quarterly/annual reports in support of Central Health.
• Become a data SME for Central Health data sources.
