Job summary

Brightspeed seeks a Senior Data Analyst to build scalable datasets and analytics for Finance PMO, Process Excellence & Business Optimization, Internal Audit & Controls. You will partner with finance stakeholders to translate business questions into actionable analytics and deliver accurate insights for strategic decisions.

The role emphasizes SQL, Python, BigQuery, data pipelines, and dashboards, with data quality and cross-functional collaboration across data engineering and reporting teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Accounting/Finance/Business, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience developing scalable datasets, reporting solutions, and analytical insights.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably GCP.
• Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, or lakehouse environments.
• Professional data analytics/cloud certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into scalable analytics.
• Extract, integrate, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources for trusted datasets.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, data pipelines, and models using BigQuery and Python.
• Design and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and outputs for insights.
• Validate data accuracy and reconcile results across systems.
