Job summary

National Grid in the United States is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead the creation, design, and delivery of high-value reports and dashboards within the EDRO. You will collaborate with Data Engineering, Reporting Analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure timely, data-driven insights while adhering to privacy standards.

This hybrid role requires at least 6 years of analysis experience and expertise in Power BI, Snowflake, and SQL.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related quantitative discipline.
Minimum of 6 years high-level data analysis experience; must visualize and interpret data.
Experience with Power BI, Snowflake and SQL; data modeling preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional reporting projects across a matrixed, global team.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and delivery formats.
Design, implement, and maintain robust reporting solutions with Power BI/Tableau.
Explore AI-driven reporting solutions, prioritizing practical use.
Propose technical solutions to stakeholders and curb offline reporting.
Keep up with data visualization trends and best practices.
Work with Data Engineering and IT to enhance data warehouse capabilities.
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of technical reports.
Provide training and support to end-users on reports and dashboards.
Adhere to data privacy and security regulations in report development.
