Job summary

Live Oak Bank is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to partner with the Deposits and Treasury Management organization. You will forecast, model, and automate reporting to support pricing, funding strategy, and portfolio performance.

Proficiency in SQL, Excel, BI tools, and AI-enabled automation is required, with collaboration across Marketing, Embedded Banking, and Merchant Services. The role requires a strong analytics background, financial acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years in financial services analytics.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including XLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and data analysis tools.
Strong proficiency in SQL and working with large, multi-table datasets.
Familiarity with BI tools and dashboard development (Databricks, Tableau, Power BI) for data visualization.

Responsibilities

Develop data strategy and proactive analytics to identify data needs, gaps, and inefficiencies as the organization scales.
Build and maintain high-quality datasets and a single source of truth for deposits and treasury reporting.
Create forecasts and dynamic financial models based on market conditions and competitive dynamics; present to leadership.
Automate spreadsheet-based forecasting and reporting using Databricks and AI tools; build dashboards to track KPIs.
Own KPI framework and develop executive dashboards and data narratives for management and board.
