Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Business Analyst/Consultant IV for a fully remote, one-year contract with a public-sector data initiative in the United States. You will bridge business needs with technical teams to design data integration, reporting, data warehousing, and quality initiatives using SQL within an agile environment.

You will lead requirements, create user stories, perform gap analyses, and coordinate testing and UAT while ensuring data accuracy and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
• 5+ years developing complex SQL queries.
• 5+ years creating source-to-target mapping documentation and supporting data integration.
• 5+ years gathering requirements, developing user stories, translating business needs into technical specs.
• 5+ years conducting root cause analysis and analyzing complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead business and systems analysis across the data management lifecycle with stakeholders to define requirements and improve data processes.
• Design and implement data integration processes between systems and data warehouses.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories.
• Coordinate testing, data reconciliation, and UAT with stakeholders to resolve defects.
• Support dashboards, data quality initiatives, and data governance practices.
