Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a senior Data Analyst for the Commercial Card - Business Intelligence team in Chicago. You will partner with technical and business teams to design scalable data solutions, define the data target state, and build secure production code that delivers measurable business impact.

You will analyze large datasets, translate complex initiatives into clear narratives, and contribute to a high-stability data platform leveraging Databricks/Trino and BI tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in analytics, data analysis, or BI roles.
• 5+ years hands-on SQL, Python, R to transform data from back-end sources (Databricks/Trino).
• Experience delivering system design, app development, testing, and operational stability.
• Ability to work with large datasets, data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
• Advanced knowledge in one or more OO programming languages.
• Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Proficient in SDLC and communicating complex initiatives clearly.

Responsibilities

• Engages technical teams and stakeholders to propose scalable data approaches.
• Defines the data target state of the product and drives strategy achievement.
• Develops secure, high‑quality production code and reviews other code.
• Evaluates best-fit technologies and provides feedback on new tools.
• Delivers creative data solutions and troubleshoots complex problems.
• Maps end‑to‑end customer journeys to surface actionable insights for experience improvements.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation to improve stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to drive outcomes.
• Participates in data analytic communities to promote modern data architectures.
