Job summary

9amHealth is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Data & Analytics team to deliver best-in-class reporting for large employers and health plans. You will own the reporting lifecycle end to end, building data models and dashboards in Looker, writing Python and SQL, and collaborating with Customer Success to tell the right data story.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data analytics, analytics engineering, or BI-focused work.
• Deep Looker/LookML expertise for modeling, explores, and dashboards.
• Expert SQL skills: complex joins, window functions, and performance tuning.
• Strong Python for data wrangling, automation, and reporting.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools in analytics workflows.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own client-facing analytics and dashboards for quarterly reviews and ad hoc requests.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to translate needs into analyses.
• Design production LookML models, explores, and dashboards in Looker.
• Write SQL across Redshift, Aurora/MySQL, and Athena at scale.
• Develop Python scripts for automated reporting and workflows.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and insights.
• Identify AI-powered use cases in analytics workflows.
• Surface trends, anomalies, and actionable recommendations.
• Define and monitor data quality metrics for client reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to improve the data layer.
• Document reporting logic and data definitions for self-service.
