Job summary

Array, a financial innovation platform, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead data analysis and collaborate with engineering and product teams. You will work with business and technology leaders to design and execute technical strategies for delivery and report to the CEO.

Responsibilities include tracing data issues, writing Jira tickets, partnering with engineers to improve data reliability, and fostering a culture of technical curiosity while leveraging AI tools to accelerate work.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and familiarity with Python.
  • Experience digging into JSONs, logs, or API outputs to validate data flows.
  • Ability to read and reason about others' code.
  • Turn ambiguous problems into clear next steps by chasing root causes.

A Senior Data Analyst at Array will bring foundational knowledge in data analysis and lead our engineering and product teams to solve the biggest problems and challenges that we’re facing. You will work with business and technology leaders to understand the holistic business strategy and then design and execute against technical strategies for delivery. This position will report to the CEO.

You Will:
  • Trace issues back through data pipelines or code to uncover why something isn’t behaving as expected.

You Have:
  • A curiosity about how systems, code, and data work; a knack to pull things apart and see what’s really happening under the hood.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, familiarity with Python, and experience digging into JSONs, logs, or API outputs to validate what’s flowing through the system.
  • Comfortable reading and reasoning about someone else’s code, identifying where things might be slowing down.
  • The ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear next steps — you chase root causes.
  • A mindset that values being less wrong each time — you approach analysis with humility, rigor, and a desire to continuously improve.
  • Analytical skills to develop data-driven insights that help improve user experience and drive conversion rates.
  • A belief that AI is reshaping work, you instinctively use it to accelerate everything you do.
