Job summary

Array, a leading financial innovation platform, seeks a Lead Software Engineer to guide our engineering squads. You will own high-scale cloud applications built with Go, Node.js, and related tech, while leveraging AI to accelerate delivery and reduce toil.

You will contribute to reliable, secure systems, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with Principal Engineers to deliver impactful software. This role is remote and contract-to-full-time after probation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience in Go, C#, or Java in a fast-paced environment (like a startup).
• 4+ years experience building and scaling a revenue generating product.
• 2+ years experience running production applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP with a broad understanding of building for cloud scale and securing internet-facing applications with high value data.
• A forward-looking approach to using Generative AI to accelerate delivery, reduce toil, and prototype solutions.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational and document databases like Postgres, SQL Server, and MongoDB.

Lead Software Engineer at Array

The Lead Software Engineer at Array will bring foundational knowledge in software engineering and lead our engineering teams to solve the biggest problems and challenges that we're facing. This position will report to an Engineering Manager and work in a squad that owns one of our product sets.

This role will start as a contract role for a 180 probationary period before converting full time.

This role is fully remote.

You Will:

• Use modern tooling including the latest AI to think, build, and ship faster with less toil.

You Have:

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational and document databases like Postgres, SQL Server, and MongoDB.

Pay Transparency: $100/hr for the 180 day period.
