Job summary

Kforce Inc. in Miami is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to conduct complex analysis, build dashboards, and mentor junior analysts. You will develop insights that drive business decisions, design robust data pipelines, and partner with stakeholders to translate questions into measurable metrics.

The role requires expertise in SQL, Python, dbt, Airflow, and data visualization with Power BI. You will own data quality, implement tests, and help shape best practices for data management across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; advanced coursework or certs preferred.
• Expert in resolving complex problems with innovative solutions.
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Luigi) and data integration platforms (NiFi, Glue).
• Skilled at supporting and managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets and present findings to senior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models (staging, intermediate, mart layers)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Advanced coursework or certifications preferred

• Extensive experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Luigi) and data integration platforms (e.g., Apache NiFi, Glue)
• Skilled at supporting and managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
• Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets and present findings to senior analysts
• Contribute to the development of best practices for data management and analysis
• Ability to work with large and complex data sets
• Experience with programming (e.g., Python, Shell Script, SQL), data modeling, and developing features within hyperscaler cloud environments
• Basic understanding of GitHub
• Proficient in advanced data cleaning techniques, such as normalization, handling categorical variables, and merging datasets
• Experience using tools like Python (pandas, NumPy) or R for complex data manipulation
• Ability to create interactive dashboards (Power BI), use calculated fields, and design complex visualizations that tell a compelling data story
• Knowledge of best practices in data visualization and experience with custom visualizations
• Understanding of how to create and maintain data models to support business reporting needs
• Exceptional ability to influence and engage senior leaders with data-driven insights
• Ability to articulate data-driven insights clearly to a diverse audience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
