Job summary

Kforce Inc. is hiring a senior data architect/engineer to lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise data platforms. You will partner with business and technology teams to ensure scalable, secure data solutions that enable accurate reporting and advanced analytics.

You will mentor engineers, establish standards, and drive a long-term data and AI roadmap while delivering on cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale data platforms in production.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and distributed processing.
  • Experience implementing master data management and customer data strategies.
  • Strong SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing expertise.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled development practices and modern software standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead technical teams and drive project delivery.

  • Create and maintain a long‑term roadmap for data, analytics, and AI capabilities
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related technical roles
  • Proven experience designing and delivering large‑scale modern data platforms in production environments
  • Experience working with cloud‑based data platforms and distributed data processing frameworks
  • Experience implementing master data management and customer data strategies
  • Strong expertise in data modeling, data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, data security, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with AI‑enabled development practices and modern software engineering standards
  • Advanced skills in SQL and modern data engineering technologies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, establish standards, and drive successful project delivery

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

  • We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees.
  • Salaried personnel receive paid time off.
  • Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
  • Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
  • This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
