Job summary

Vermont League of Cities and Towns seeks a Senior Data Analyst to help South Burlington use data to inform policy and operational decisions. You will collect, analyze, and visualize data across departments to support data-driven decision making and GIS integration.

The role includes supervising the City’s Data and GIS Analyst and maintaining knowledge of spatial, financial, and operational information to promote data analysis to achieve City goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least three years of professional data analytics experience.
• Equivalency considered and GIS/data visualization experience is a plus.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As the Senior Data Analyst, you will:

• Maintain a working knowledge of the City’s spatial, financial, and operational information and promote the use of data analysis and GIS to achieve City goals.
• Supervise the City’s Data and GIS Analyst to integrate City data collection within one team

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

A successful candidate would hold a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Public Policy or a related field of study and at least three years of equivalent professional work experience demonstrating required skills, equivalency considered.

SALARY RANGE: $80,017.60 to $90,001.60, annually.
