Job summary

Vermont League of Cities and Towns seeks a Senior Data Analyst to help South Burlington use data to inform policy and operational decisions. You will collect, analyze, and visualize data across departments to support data-driven decision making and GIS integration.

The role includes supervising the City’s Data and GIS Analyst and maintaining knowledge of spatial, financial, and operational information to promote data analysis to achieve City goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least three years of professional data analytics experience.
• Equivalency considered and GIS/data visualization experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with City leadership across departments to facilitate data-driven decision-making at all levels of government.
• Maintain knowledge of spatial, financial, and operational information and promote data analysis and GIS to achieve City goals.
• Supervise the City’s Data and GIS Analyst to integrate City data collection within one team.
