Job summary

Aledade seeks a Senior Software Engineer to maintain and expand data models and Databricks pipelines, turning healthcare data into actionable patient insights. You will collaborate across teams to build secure, scalable solutions, mentor peers, and help drive technical roadmaps in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years building backend applications in a cross-functional team
• 2+ years coaching or mentoring engineers
• 4+ years in data engineering, Databricks, and data warehouses
• 3+ years working in backend languages (Python/Java/Node.js)
• Experience designing and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large multi-table datasets
• Knowledge of data storage technologies and database systems
• Ability to influence technical decisions as a trusted team member

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, performant data models and Databricks pipelines
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to execute technical roadmaps
• Mentor junior engineers and provide thorough PR feedback
• Build and monitor data pipelines and ETL processes for large healthcare datasets
• Ensure security, reliability, and scalability of data systems
