Job summary

Aledade is seeking a data engineer to join the Patient Domain engineering team. You will help turn healthcare data into insights, maintain data models, and expand Databricks pipelines while collaborating with care practices to ensure appropriate patient care.

The role emphasizes building scalable backend services, mentoring teammates, and contributing to technical roadmaps in an Agile environment. You will monitor models in production to drive measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL or another database querying language on large multi-table data sets.
• 4+ years of experience as an engineer building backend applications as part of a cross-functional team.
• 2+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting, balancing short-term and long-term business value.
• 2+ years of experience coaching other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable, performant solutions across data models and pipeline infrastructure.
• Partner with engineering managers, product managers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes.
• Mentor and coach more junior engineers, including thorough pull-request reviews, while remaining receptive to critical feedback on your own work.
• Support the team in monitoring and observing models in production to ensure they are driving measurable impact.
