Job summary

CompassX, a boutique business and technology consulting firm, seeks a Solution Owner (Data, Technology & AI) to lead high-visibility client engagements from problem statement to adoption. You’ll sit with client executives, shape the solution, and partner with architects, engineers, and data/AI practitioners to ensure a credible, end-to-end delivery.

Local Southern California candidates preferred. The role demands consulting-grade presence, architecture instincts, and fluency in data pipelines

Qualifications

• Clarity in executive communication and consensus-building.
• Experience shaping or designing end-to-end solutions (architecture/process/product).
• Working knowledge of data and AI environments—pipelines, analytics, model evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary, trusted face of CompassX to senior client stakeholders and build credibility early.
• Own the solution design and approach, validate technically, and defend it under scrutiny.
• Partner with architects, engineers, and data/AI practitioners to ensure the technical approach holds up while owning the overall solution.
• Drive process improvement and modern ways of working as part of the solution.
