Job summary

Teladoc Health is seeking a Principal Data & AI Platform Engineer to architect, build, and operationalize AI-augmented capabilities across our data platform. You will lead DataOps, AI-driven monitoring, and scalable data processing for thousands of users and enterprise consumers.

You will set technical direction, mentor engineers, and partner with data engineering, platform, cloud, security, and business teams to deliver resilient, observable, and intelligent data solutions across Teladoc

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of experience across data engineering, software engineering, or platform engineering.
3+ years applying AI, GenAI, or agentic capabilities to data engineering workflows.
Experience with modern data platforms and large-scale distributed processing.
Proven ability to lead design and execution across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement AI and agentic capabilities for data processing systems.
Develop AI-driven data quality and observability to detect anomalies.
Lead DataOps and platform capabilities for enterprise data consumers.
Productionize AI within data engineering operations with proper review and fallback paths.
Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on complex data problems.
Collaborate with data engineering, platform, cloud, security, and business teams.
