Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer to work with customers in Dallas on data, AI, and platform solutions using Databricks.

You will own architecture, lead design decisions, and deliver end-to-end deployments spanning data engineering, ML/AI models, and applications, while embedding with customer teams to ensure measurable business impact.

Travel up to 20% and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with Databricks best practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data engineering, analytics, or software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with distributed computing and Apache Spark.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead production-grade solution delivery including data ingestion and AI model integration.
• Guide strategic customers and scope technical delivery work.
• Own architecture decisions ensuring security and scalability.
• Embed with customer teams and provide feedback to product.
• Create accelerators and best practices for scale.
