Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, is seeking a Senior Manager, Data & AI Architect to design scalable data architectures using Databricks and Lakehouse technologies. You will implement Bronze/Silver/Gold layers and build semantic models for enterprise metrics in collaboration with SAP experts.

The role emphasizes data governance, security, and observability while guiding engineers, analysts, and stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field; 10+ years of applicable experience or an advanced degree with 7+ years.
• 7+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience designing modern data architectures and Lakehouse solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable enterprise data architectures using Databricks and Lakehouse tech.
• Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Create semantic layers for enterprise metrics and analytics.
• Model data across ECC and S/4HANA; collaborate with SAP experts and stakeholders.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines with Databricks, Spark, and SQL.
• Define data governance, quality, lineage and security standards.
