Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Data & AI Architect to design, develop, and govern scalable data architectures that support BI, analytics, AI, and operations. You will work with business stakeholders, data engineers, and security teams to establish data standards and platforms enabling reliable data access across the organization.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Databricks Lakehouse experience, a deep understanding of the Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), and experience migrating SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of experience; OR an Advanced Degree with 7+ years of experience.
• 7+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong experience with modern data architectures and Lakehouse solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable enterprise data architectures using Databricks and Lakehouse technologies.
• Define and implement Medallion Architecture patterns (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Architect semantic layers for enterprise metrics and analytics across heterogeneous systems.
• Collaborate with SAP experts to integrate ECC and S/4HANA data models and governance.
• Develop data models and data pipelines (ETL/ELT) aligned with business needs.
• Ensure security, privacy, governance, and data quality across platforms.
