Job summary

Databricks Inc. in New York seeks a technical leader and lead architect to own the Data + AI vision for a strategic health technology account. You will manage the technical relationship across regions, units and regulatory regimes, turning ambition into an executable roadmap.

You will collaborate with an account pod of Solutions Architects, specialists, Professional Services and partners, driving production-grade data and AI solutions and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering, analytics, ML or AI architecture with customer-facing leadership.
• Hands-on expertise in modern data/AI platforms; Spark, Delta Lake and Databricks are a plus.
• Experience designing large-scale data platforms and migrations across environments.
• Enterprise governance and security models, production ML and MLOps.
• GenAI and agent systems; ability to win platform decisions on architecture and cost.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; prototyping with AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the customer's enterprise Data + AI vision with executive stakeholders.
• Inspire CTOs and engineering leaders with working examples and prototypes.
• Lead the account pod technically and coach Solutions Architects, specialists and partners.
• Partner with Account Executive on strategy and path to value for major initiatives.
• Align pre-sales, delivery and partners into one Databricks team with a single escalation path.
• Build lasting C-level relationships across IT, data & AI, R&D, and business units.
• Scale GenAI and agentic AI from pilot to production across business units.
• Build partner ecosystem relationships to scale delivery.
• Create reusable IP for the Databricks health and life sciences community.
