Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Data and AI Architect to join our Data & AI Technology group. You will design and implement scalable data and AI solutions using Azure and Databricks to deliver actionable insights for AEC projects.

Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders, translating business needs into architectural designs while staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices. Domestic/international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design the architecture for data and AI solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Create data and AI architectures that are scalable and secure.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and stakeholders.
• Present to external audiences as needed.
• Assist with documentation, standards, and best practices.
• Stay current with new data technologies and tools.
