Job summary

Massman Construction Co. seeks a Mid-Career Engineer to lead on-site project administration, scheduling, and engineering for complex dam and marine infrastructure projects.

You will develop and manage detailed work plans, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure full USACE contract compliance and quality standards. The role involves preparing monthly pay estimates, updating schedules, processing change orders, and generating cost reports while mentoring junior staff and aligning with Massman’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field (Civil, Mechanical, Construction Engineering) or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field/Office Engineer.
• Prior USACE dam or water infrastructure project experience preferred.
• Certification/experience with USACE CQM preferred or obtainable after hire.
• Experience with heavy civil and marine construction; Corps of Engineers work is a plus.
• Valid driver's license for travel and ability to coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site project administration, scheduling, and engineering for dam and water infrastructure projects.
• Develop and manage detailed work plans; resolve constructability issues; oversee on-site activities.
• Schedule and manage subcontractors; ensure compliance with USACE contracts and quality standards.
• Prepare monthly pay estimates, schedule updates, change orders, and cost reports.
• Lead safety, quality, and project meetings; manage contract administration and documentation.
• Collaborate with designers/engineers on value engineering and constructability issues.
