Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in dairy science, food science, microbiology, or related field.
• PCQI certification.
• GFSI/SQF practitioner certification preferred.
• 5+ years of food/beverage QA or related lab experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific/technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Strong understanding of Pasteurized Milk Ordinance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership in food safety, sanitation, and product quality.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, and ensure audit readiness.
• Maintain plant sanitation and verify records.
• Ensure GMP compliance and pest control programs.
• Lead training for SQF, GMPs, and FSMA programs.
• Support product development and CAPA investigations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in dairy science, food science, microbiology, or related field

PCQI certification

GFSI/SQF practitioner certification

5+ years of food/beverage QA or related lab experience

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific/technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents

Strong understanding of Pasteurized Milk Ordinance
