Job summary
Walmart is expanding its third company-owned milk processing facility to serve over 750 stores in Texas and surrounding states. The role focuses on maintaining automation equipment, PLC programming, and robotics to support production lines, with a starting hourly wage of $39.85 and shifts with differential opportunities.
You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize automated systems, partnering with Engineering on improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include coursework or certification in electronic technology or 2+ years in industrial maintenance with electronic focus.
- Alternative: 3+ years in industrial maintenance focusing on electronic tech, troubleshooting, and programming automated equipment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Responsibilities
- Assist in operating multiple departments within the facility.
- Lead troubleshooting and repair of electrical and non-electrical equipment.
- Program, configure, and modify PLC logic, HMI screens, and robot controllers for automation changes.
- Support engineering on new equipment integration and continuous improvement projects.
- Document work orders, logs, and reports per company procedures.
- Participate in root-cause analysis to improve OEE and line reliability.
