Job summary

The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City, OK seeks a Lead Structural DaDT Analysis Engineer (Level 4) to join the Air Vehicle Engineering team. You will lead DaDT and fracture analyses for bomber programs, developing FEM models and analytical tools to ensure airframe integrity throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities include leading test plans, validating results, and maintaining ASIP compliance, with onsite work and an active U.S. security clearance consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering in a relevant field.
• Ability to independently construct, execute, review, and manage FEM models for DaDT.
• Expertise in linear elastic fracture mechanics and Paris Law.
• Experience with standard crack growth tools (NASGRO, AFGROW, GROWTH, NASA/FLAGRO, BEAS).
• 9+ years in structural analysis and 4+ years in fracture, fatigue, or DaDT analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with stress, DaDT analysis, and FEM methodologies.
• Perform failsafe, durability life calculations, and damage tolerance assessments.
• Develop and verify analytical methods and FEM models for airframe structures.
• Lead test plans, configurations, and report results to validate requirements.
• Collaborate to maintain ASIP compliance and repair development efforts.
• Guide design to ensure structural integrity throughout the product lifecycle.
