Job summary

enVista Corp. is seeking a D365 Finance Principal Consultant capable of leading Finance workstreams on Dynamics 365 Finance projects remotely from the United States.

You will mentor teams, guide executives, and drive end-to-end solution design for multi-entity environments, with strong emphasis on governance and data integrity. The role requires 10+ years in finance or consulting and 3+ years of hands-on D365 Finance experience, plus willingness to travel periodically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/IS; CPA/MBA a plus
• 10+ years in finance, accounting, controllership, or consulting
• 3+ years hands-on D365 Finance experience
• Deep D365 Finance, GL, AP, AR, project accounting, intercompany experience
• Strong project accounting, budgeting, security configuration experience
• Consultative mindset; guide process improvements and decisions
• D365 reporting experience; Power BI a plus
• Ability to define finance data requirements and migration approaches
• Comfort working with SCM, manufacturing, warehousing, integrations, and reporting
• Familiarity with MS deployment practices and pre-sales basics

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance workstream on D365 Finance implementations from discovery to go-live and stabilization
• Provide functional leadership across GL, AP, AR, project accounting, and consolidations
• Act as trusted advisor to executives and hands-on users, guiding finance design decisions
• Lead workshops, gap analyses, and solution design aligning with best practices
• Design and validate multi-entity finance solutions with reporting and intercompany needs
• Own quality control for design documents, configurations, and client recommendations
• Collaborate with SCM, manufacturing, warehousing, data migration, and reporting teams
• Mentor and coach finance consultants and contribute to solution leadership maturity
