Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Cytoprep Technician III in Pittsburgh, PA, with a Tuesday to Saturday 2:00 AM to 10:30 AM schedule. The role offers a pay range starting at $20.23 per hour, with potential 10% shift differential for some hours and 15% for others, plus eligibility for annual bonus consideration.

Under supervision, you will process Non-Gyn and SurePath specimens, run the stainers, and prepare slides while maintaining quality control and safety logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current state licensure, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Accessions and processes Non-Gyn and SurePath specimens for microscopic evaluation.
• Run the stainers, change reagents, and coverslip.
• Prepare specimens for CT/NG testing.
• Maintain quality control, safety and preventive maintenance logs daily.
• Train new Cytoprep technicians in proper Cytopreparation and accessioning procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to solve problems.
