Job summary

Precision Focus seeks a senior Joint Operation Planner to lead and execute comprehensive cyberspace operations planning, coordinating with IJSTO and RAPCO to develop CONOPs and orders for combat and contingency operations.

The role requires deep knowledge of JOPP/JOPES, APEX, and JCW planning methods, plus a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Joint Operation Planner and a complete working knowledge of the JOPP, JOPES, and APEX planning formats and guidance.
• Ability to communicate effectively, organize activities, analyze threat data, and present solutions to complex problems
• Minimum of bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum specialized education in military joint operation planning through the JPME II from a CJCS accredited joint education program listed in CJCSI 1800.01E. The JIOPC, or other similar military operation planning courses, may be substituted for JPME II.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Four years of planning experience may be substituted with completion of an advanced Service planner school (SAMS, SAASS, JAWS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in all phases of Joint Operation Planning (JOPP) and APEX activities.
• Coordinate cyberspace operations planning through IJSTO, including Evaluation Request and Response Messages, SAP procedures, and RAPCO.
• Establish joint operation planning objectives in support of combat and contingency operations and coordinate CONOPs and orders.
• Provide extensive technical expertise and act as an advanced planning expert across analysis, design, and execution.
