Huntress, a remote-first cybersecurity company, is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to elevate our security training programs. You will design, build, and deliver modular, instructor-led experiences that sharpen analysts' skills and operational readiness, partnering with the Training Manager and security SMEs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing, developing, and delivering technical training in a cybersecurity or similarly complex technical environment, with content creation as the primary focus and instructor-led facilitation as a secondary but important part of the role.
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical security concepts into clear, accessible learning experiences for audiences with varying levels of expertise.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where programs are still being built and the ability to create structure independently is as important as following it.
• Familiarity with modern training tools and LMS platforms, with the ability to move between facilitation and content creation without losing momentum.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs analysis with the Sr. Manager, Technical Training and SMEs to translate gaps into structured learning solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain modular technical learning experiences for the security organization, including self-paced content, live sessions, practice activities, job aids, and onboarding assets.
• Assess training effectiveness through learner feedback, knowledge validation, and performance signals, then refine content accordingly.
• Coordinate with SMEs to ensure training reflects accurate, up-to-date detection and response knowledge.
• Deliver instructor-led training across live virtual and onboarding formats when appropriate.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational realities into clear, trustworthy documentation.
