Job summary

Complete Logistical Services seeks a Sr Cybersecurity Technologist to join as a contract role in Houston. You will analyze network risks, design and implement security policies, and manage incidents with 24/7 availability in a non-remote setting.

You will lead security projects, perform deep packet analysis with Wireshark/PAN-OS, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure business continuity while aligning with ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

7 years hands-on experience with Palo Alto technologies platform and configuration experience.
Experience designing and implementing security policies including NAT, URL filtering, Threat Prevention, and SSL decryption.
Skilled in deep packet analysis and log review for root cause analysis in crisis situations.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or equivalent are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Analyze, evaluate, and assess network risks to develop defense measures and protocols.
Leverage Palo Alto NGFW, GlobalProtect, and Panorama to manage and enhance network security.
Perform policy design and configuration for NAT, URL filtering, Threat Prevention, and SSL decryption.
Conduct deep packet analysis and log review using Wireshark and PAN-OS to resolve complex issues.
Lead cybersecurity projects from conception to execution with cross-functional teams.
Respond to incidents promptly and coordinate with internal teams for effective resolutions.
Educate stakeholders on cybersecurity best practices and adaptive security measures.
Develop and refine incident response plans and ensure business continuity.
