Job summary

Complete Logistical Services is seeking a Sr Cybersecurity Technologist for a contract role on-site in Houston to safeguard critical operations in a 24/7 environment. This position emphasizes hands-on defense, incident response, and close collaboration with IT and operations teams.

You will design and implement security policies, configure Palo Alto NGFW, Global Protect, and Panorama, and perform ongoing risk assessments with deep packet analysis using Wireshark and PAN-OS.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience with Palo Alto technologies and security platforms.
• Experience configuring NGFWs (Palo Alto), Global Protect, and Panorama.
• Ability to design and implement security policies (NAT, URL filtering, Threat Prevention, SSL decryption).
• Skilled in deep packet analysis and log review with Wireshark and PAN-OS.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate network risks to defend assets in a 24/7 environment.
• Lead incidents response and collaborate with IT and operations teams to resolve threats.
• Develop security policies and maintain configurations across networks and endpoints.
• Educate stakeholders on cybersecurity best practices and adaptive security measures.
• Lead cybersecurity projects from conception to execution with cross-functional teams.
