Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer/ISSE to advance A&A and RMF for customer environments in the Washington, DC area. This role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, 10+ years of related experience, and IASAE II certification.

You will work on SSPs, CPs, and compliance artifacts on-site with client teams. The position emphasizes collaboration with ISSMs, engineers, and project managers to deliver secure, compliant solutions in complex systems.

Qualifications

• Security; 10+ years required experience
• DoD 8570 IASAE II certification required
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required

Responsibilities

• Lead Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) reviews at group level ISSMs and Security Controls Assessors
• Document security control implementations and support RMF/ICD 503 authorization efforts
• Develop SSP/CONOPS documents for each project architecture
• Gather artifacts from system owners, PMs, and engineers to produce AA-related documents
• Coordinate with contractors and customers to obtain A&A content and achieve Authority to Develop/Test/Operate
• Monitor A&A projects and communicate status to stakeholders
• Support audit liaison and compliance activities to strengthen RMF
• Conduct technical reviews and updates to ISCM/OA strategy plans
• Update control volatility sections based on threats, policy, and IC guidance
