Job summary

Integral Federal seeks a Senior Systems Engineer—Cybersecurity / ISSO to sustain RMF and ATO for Army biometric systems. You will maintain security posture, documentation, and continuous monitoring while guiding security engineering, system hardening, and incident response.

The role requires DoD RMF experience, a Secret clearance, and collaboration with ISSM/ISO teams across cloud and on-prem components. Based near Tysons, VA with potential federal travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of professional systems engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting DoD/Army RMF and eMASS.
• Experience maintaining an active ATO and continuous-monitoring program.
• POA&M management and NIST 800-53/800-37 familiarity.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Serve as contractor ISSO and primary interface with Government ISSM/ISO/SCA cybersecurity personnel.
• Maintain RMF authorization documentation and cybersecurity artifacts within eMASS.
• Maintain ATO/Assess Only authorization status, SSP/control evidence, POA&M, STIG status, and continuous-monitoring documentation.
• Coordinate vulnerability scanning, STIG assessments, IAVA/IAVM response, and security-control validation.
• Prepare recurring cybersecurity status reports and provide required information.
• Coordinate remediation with cloud, platform, network, and DevOps engineers and verify actions.
