Job summary

VMD Corp is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to deliver security leadership across multiple IT projects. You will guide A&A activities, assess risk, and craft remediation plans to reduce cybersecurity exposure.

You will participate in meetings, create RMF documentation, and drive POA&Ms to closure while communicating with executives and stakeholders. The role requires strong collaboration and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity and compliance experience.
• CISSP or CISM certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree and eligibility for US clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in meetings to review compliance of systems.
• Perform risk assessments based on federal guidelines.
• Identify vulnerabilities and provide remediation guidance.
• Develop RMF documentation and control procedures.
• Report cybersecurity risk to executives and leaders.
• Create and track POA&Ms and ensure timely closure.
