Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Cybersecurity Risk - Managing Consultant to lead three workstreams in cybersecurity risk management, governance and HVA oversight for federal clients. You will coordinate risk assessments with senior consultants, advise on NIST and other directives, and ensure alignment with agency requirements.

Ideal candidates have active Secret clearance, strong written and verbal communication, and extensive federal consulting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s preferred for some roles.
• Seven years of cybersecurity experience, or a Master’s with five years of experience.
• US Citizenship required; active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead development and execution of cybersecurity risk management and risk governance.
• Coordinate enterprise risk assessments and HVA oversight across multiple workstreams.
• Provide guidance on federal frameworks (NIST, SP 800-171/60, IR 8286) and QA/QC of deliverables.
• Prepare risk management plans, SOPs and playbooks for agency-wide risk programs.
• Present findings to technical and executive audiences and advise on action plans.
