Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Puerto Rico is seeking a Senior Engineer for Cybersecurity R&D within the Junos Cybersecurity group. You will lead security initiative across certification, threat modelling, and AI‑assisted vulnerability management for networking devices running Junos OS.

Candidates should bring deep security expertise and cross‑functional collaboration skills. Relocation support is provided for eligible candidates; strong written and verbal communication is essential to influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or adjacent technical field.
• Typically 6–10 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Support security certifications including NIST FIPS 140, Common Criteria, and EU CRA.
• Develop and enhance product security capabilities including gap analysis, threat modelling, static/dynamic analysis, pentesting, hardware security assessments, and AI‑enhanced vulnerability management.
• Tracks new cybersecurity technologies and contributes to the cybersecurity roadmap, then leads hands‑on execution.
• Leverages domain expertise to influence engineering managers, platform teams, and product line managers.
• Mentors less‑experienced staff and promotes excellence in cybersecurity design.
