Job summary

Highwire is a strategic marketing communications agency seeking an Account Manager to lead cybersecurity client programs, translating complex topics into business narratives and guiding media relations, executive visibility, and crisis response.

You will mentor junior staff, contribute to new business development, and advance Highwire’s reputation as a leading cybersecurity communications agency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PR, communications, or marketing experience in an agency environment.
• Experience working with cybersecurity clients.
• Established relationships with business, technology, and cybersecurity trade media and analysts.
• Proven ability to develop and lead communications strategies that drive visibility.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day client lead, managing strategic communications programs from planning to results.
• Develop PR and thought leadership strategies that strengthen brand reputation and differentiates clients.
• Set measurable goals tied to coverage and thought leadership outcomes.
• Provide strategic counsel on communications challenges, product launches, incident response, and reputation management.
• Oversee budgets, team priorities, and deliverables to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and program impact.
• Lead client media training sessions and prepare executives for interviews and events.
